The Roosevelt County Commission will be accepting application for anyone interested in filling the Senate District 27 vacant seat. Any interested parties can submit a letter of interest and resume to the County Manager’s Office by Monday, Nov. 6, 2023 before 5 p.m. via email to ahamilton@rooseveltcounty.com or in-person at 109 W. 1st Street in Portales. The Board will select a candidate to advance to the governor at their next regular open meeting slated for Nov. 14, 2023 at 9 a.m. Please contact the County Manager’s Office if you need any further information.
