The Roosevelt County Road Department will close Spruce Street for approximately one mile, from US 70 to NM 236/North Main on Thursday, April 13. The roadway will be closed to all thru-traffic while micro-seal is being applied to the roadway. Work is expected start at approximately 8 a.m. to allow morning bus routes and traffic patterns to clear and should be completed by 5 p.m. on that same day, April 13. This roadway is being enhanced with the micro-seal application as part of the Transportation Project Fund grant award.

We ask all residents to avoid this section of roadway and utilize alternate routes while this work is being completed. Please drive slow and watch for heavy equipment and personnel. If you have any questions, please contact the Road Department at 575.356.5942 or Administration Office at 575.356.5307.
