The Roosevelt County Road Department has begun work on two miles of South Roosevelt Road O, between South Roosevelt Road 3 and NM 88. They will also be starting work on Cottonwood Place and Springwood Addition off of South Roosevelt Road P. These projects are expected to be completed Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022 weather permitting.
These roadway projects are being enhanced from caliche to chip seal as per the County’s 5-year Road Improvement Plan, and are funded with capital outlay dollars secured by the County Commissioners. We ask all residents to drive slowly and watch for heavy equipment and personnel.
