The Roosevelt County Road Department will begin work on South Roosevelt Road 6 between Industrial Drive and South Roosevelt Road U, the week of July 24. Work should be complete by Aug. 31, weather permitting. This one mile section of roadway will be closed to thru-traffic as the heavy commercial traffic will be rerouted during this phase. The roadway is being reconstructed back to pavement through a joint partnership between the County and City government entities, and local business leaders.
Note this section of South Roosevelt Road 6 will be closed to thru-traffic, so please plan accordingly and seek alternate routes as signage will provide direction.
