Based on information provided by our local safety personnel and in the same direction of the Portales Public Schools, on Friday, Jan. 12, all non-safety sensitive personnel at Roosevelt County will work on a two-hour delay due to expected snowfall and reported icy and spotty snow-packed road conditions. All County administrative offices will open for business at 10:00 a.m.

Safety-sensitive personnel and employees required to maintain operations during inclement weather will report to work as scheduled. All emergency and first-responder services will remain active as well, but their administrative offices will also close.

Please call 9-1-1 if you have an emergency that requires assistance.
