Roosevelt County Manager

Roosevelt County is seeking a dedicated and strategic leader to serve as our County Manager. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape our county’s future. We are looking for someone who can guide our county departments and collaborate with community leaders to enhance the services provided to our residents.
Job Description
The County Manager, as the chief administrative officer appointed by the Roosevelt County Board of Commissioners, is integral to maintaining the county’s strong fiscal health. Responsibilities include overseeing all county departments, implementing policies set by the Board, and driving efficient service delivery.
Key Duties
- Provide support and strategic information to the County Commissioner
- Manage county operations and collaborate closely with all departments and HR in all facets of the employment process.
- Oversee budget preparation and financial management, upholding our commitment to fiscal responsibility and transparency.
- Coordinate with various governmental entities and manage legal matters, ensuring compliance and advocacy for county interests.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
- At least 7-10 years of management experience, preferably in government.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bi-lingual abilities.
- Veterans preferred.
