Roosevelt County General Hospital and Facilities

The Roosevelt General Hospital built in 2001 is a modern, attractive facility fully equipped with the most technologically sophisticated equipment available and staffed by well-trained personnel.

The 26 bed facility provides specialty care, surgical care, and a full emergency facily, which was recently designated as the first Level Four Trauma Center in the state of New Mexico. Patients are Roosevelt General can expect to be cared for by a fully qualified staff of doctors and nurses, competent lab technicians, dieticians, inhalation technicians, and physical therapists that are always prepared and ready to assist. The facility also houses a full time MRI located in its X-ray department. The facility does not contain a maternity or obstetrics department.

Providing walk-in and appointment care, La Casa assists the community by offering doctors qualified in internal medicine, family practice, pediatrics, and obstetrics and gynecology.  La Casa provides care to all income levels and houses within the building the Public Health Office as well as the local WICC office 575.356.6828.

A 5-day a week, cash-pay clinic, Portales Medical Clinic provides Roosevelt County a variety of services including DOT and sports physicals, and caring for common illnesses.  Dr. Jones is also capable of performing small procedures within his office.
