Roosevelt County provides many services for county residents, and has several departments which encompass these services. See our departments below.

Administration

The Administration office incorporates the County Manager’s office, the Accounts Payable department and the Human Resources department working together in unison.

The County Clerk’s office administers several services for the general public such as issuing marriage license, deeds, and voter registration. The County Clerk’s office also houses real-estate records recorded for public information such as release of liens, mortgages and the like.

Assessor

The Assessor’s Office services the public and Roosevelt County in appraising property for tax information, and keeping all information of property owners in Roosevelt County current.

Treasurer

The Treasurer’s Office receives all revenues and dispurses taxes to municipalities.

Sheriff

The Sheriff’s Office provides Roosevelt County residents security and safety throughout the county.

Detention Center

The Detention Center detains wards of Roosevelt County satisfying obligations ruled by courts.

Indigent

The Indigent office provides financial support to the general public for some medical bill expenses to all qualifying residents of Roosevelt County.

Rural Addressing

Rural Addressing department maintains all Roosevelt County residents with a current physical address providing efficiency for 911 emergency situations.

Road Maintenance

The Road Maintenance department is vital to Roosevelt County keeping our roads safe and drivable. The Road Maintenance department provides all maintenance on all roads in Roosevelt County.

Maintenance

The Maintenance department maintains all aspects of Roosevelt County Courthouse and Fairgrounds.

Probate Court

The Probate Court appoints legally qualified persons, called personal representatives, to manage and settle the decedent's business affairs.
